the midterm break.
after fucking up on both of my recent examination, i guess a break is mostly welcomed. the basketball court is not as nearly as exciting this time around. and haven't yet jammed. everything does change after you fucken work huh. played snooker today. haven't played since .....hmmm..i can't even remember.
trying my best to finish desperate housewives. farah is the person to thank .....for letting me copy the series from her hard-disk. i'm now on episode 8. and there's like 20 something more episodes to go.
downloaded soundgarden. and some other one-hit wonder songs from bands that is unknown to many this day and age.
One week after Hurricane Katrina devastated the region, miles-long lines of vehicles crawled into Jefferson Parish on Monday as residents were allowed to return to salvage what was left of their homes. New Orleans' mayor warned that 10,000 people may have died. President Bush began his second trip to the region since the storm hit, landing in Baton Rouge late in the morning to start another inspection tour and consultations with federal and local officials.
the bush administration is totally fucked up. how can a country as big and as developed as the US took 5 days to sort the mess out. simple. the answer is goerge bush. maybe i dunno the facts but... i don't think it's logical that the US took more than 5 days to arrive with help at new orleans. it is sad to see the post-hurricane casualties that could've been avoided if the govt just shut the hell up and provide them with the help/care they need instead of false promise through the media.
disaster after disaster. typhoon nabi struck japan. and a passenger jet kinda plough into a city killing 143. "The dead victims total 143, composed of 104 passengers and crew and 39 residents," Pardede said in a statement in the country's third biggest city.
reality bites ... hard ....
