past midnight and your mind is still active - on the way to narita, Japan

he's holding her with one arm
there's no load he couldn't take
at first it was panick and he's always alarmed
he can hold it, he had to and since the first day he knew it

mommy's away far from the cry
the laughter she heard are fake and dry
pretending to be tough superficial as it might be
when she's home that's when she's set free

waking up to a sound as simple as breathing
gotta rush now to attend the thick of thin things
contributing to a world profit orienteering
protected by a bubble, they are Iiving the dream

flights, bags, and the occasional blurred photograph,
all the strangers I had crossed path,
the buildings, the roads, the most visited landmarks,
sleep well in the clouds we're out of the dark
