violet

finally, i am a proud owner of sony's network walkman. And so far the battery is amazing, the sound though, depends on the format of the song, the kbps rate etc. u know...all the stuff that make up a good sound. anyway .... i've converted 100+ songs to ATRAC and compressed them to 48kbps and that is low as far as kbps is concerned. the sound is ok ... sort of flat .. but .. to save space that's the way to go ..

even raw recorded jamming session sounds good in this kbps...

the display however .. is awesome ... i've been awed by wafi's sony mp3 playa (different + even more expensive) display from the first time i laid my eyes on it ...

and my mp3 playa don't dissapoint ... i am pretty pleased with my display eventho i'd trade mine with wafi's anyday of the year ...

512mb is not huge enough if you prefer having the entire album of your favourite artist ...in your mp3 playa ...but it is ok for those who just want some music to enjoy to while jogging or when you're on one of those long boring trip looking at barren landscape of the plus highway....

it's light too ...i jogged with mine .. and i barely feel its presence ...

i'm not familiar with sonicstage .. but it's just like other jukebox program .... import, convert, transfer ... all that shit ...

if you are a drag and drop person ... do not buy any mp3 network walkman from sony ... i think it's better to get one of those mp3 playa made by famous computer names like creative etc ..

i'm pleased .. ..
